Benefits and Features of the "Partner" Status
The "Partner" status is an extended role for those who regularly sell items on Preloved not only on their own behalf, but also on behalf of other sellers (for example, consignment shops, buyers, or stylists). A Partner lists a lot, manages the deal, and receives their own commission separately from the amount owed to the item's owner.
Below is what becomes available with the "Partner" status.
1. Your own commission on the lot card
- When creating a lot, the Partner has access to a separate "Partner Commission" field.
- The commission is set as a fixed amount, not a percentage. The commission can be changed by the Partner themselves.

3. Deals for your own buyers and payment via link
A Partner can manage a deal from start to finish on behalf of their buyer:
- Copy and send the buyer a payment link.
- Copy a link for linking the seller's card - so the money goes directly to the item's owner, without extra steps.
This is convenient if the Partner's buyer doesn't use the Preloved app directly - payment and card linking can be arranged through the link.

4. Separate payouts: commission and payment to the seller go to different cards
The key difference with the Partner status is that the money doesn't pass through a single card:
- The Partner links their own card to receive the **Partner Commission**.
- A separate card is linked for the seller to receive the **payment for the lot** (via a card-linking link sent to them).
- Both payouts go through the secure deal and are automatically sent to the relevant cards once the buyer's inspection is complete.
